DSDT’s Second Annual “Dance Experience” with Michael Jahoda and Toni Bravo

Michael Jahoda is coming back to Austin!!!
{He danced with the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble. He was a Principal Dancer with Jennifer Muller/the Works (NYC), and a featured dancer with Anouk van Dijk (NL). Michael is a freelance teacher and on the list of guest faculty at Boston University (USA) and Codarts, Rotterdam (NL). In 2001 he co-created, and now leads, the Phillip Project; a multi-disciplinary arts project. Michael is currently Rehearsal Director and Assistant to the Choreographer at Conny Janssen Danst in Rotterdam. }

He will be teaching and working with Diverse Space Dance Theatre on a new piece!!!!!!

We are having open classes for dancers of all levels.

Dancers interested in performance opportunities may inquire about the informal performance on Aug. 16, the formal show on Sept. 7 at The VORTEX, and three more performances in DSDT’s season. diversespace@gmail.com

12:00 – 2:00 pm Class
2:30 – 6:00 pm Rehearsal

Sun. Aug 16 *Informal Showing*
12:00 – 1:30 pm Class
1:30 – 3:00 pm Rehearsal
4:00 pm Informal Performance

$10 single class
$75 full workshop
[paid in advance, no refunds if you miss any of it]
You have to give us a list of conflicts if you want to perform!

MANDATORY FOR DSDT AND DSYDT [discount available–need to commit to the full season for membership] DSDT and DSYDT members pay $45 for full workshop!!


Later Toni Bravo will be teaching a CHOREOGRAPHY Workshop on Fri. Sep. 4 from 6:00 to 9:00pm and Sat. to Mon. Sep. 5-7 from 11:00am to 6:00pm
Monday Sep. 7 we will have a performance with the works resulting from this “Dance Experience” at VORTEX theater.
